The accident on the M5 Junction One motorway island, shortly before 11am this morning, has resulted in the closure of the M5 exit slip road on the southbound carriageway.

The lorry driver, a man in his forties, was checked over, found to have only minor injuries and was discharged at the scene.

The A41 has been partially closed to recover the overturned lorry.

Road closures are expected to remain until 3pm this afternoon.

Today's incident is in the same place that a cyclist was killed in a fatal crash with a lorry yesterday.
