A post mortem has taken place, which shows Mrs Dunkley, from Elmdon Road in Marston Green, died from head injuries.

Police were called to the address at 1.22pm on Friday by a member of the public reporting a disturbance.

On arrival officers found a woman seriously hurt on the floor and a man also with injuries.

Both were taken to hospital; sadly Mrs Dunkley died as a result of her injuries.

The 38-year-old man who was taken to hospital with facial injuries has now been discharged following treatment.

Detective Inspector Martin Slevin from Force CID said: "Enquiries are on-going into what happened in Elmdon Road. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident."
