On the EKHUFT website, trust chairman Nicholas Wells, says: "I am delighted to be able to announce that the trust has appointed Chris Bown as the interim chief executive.

"I believe Chris will provide the high quality leadership that EKHUFT requires for its next phase of development and I am greatly looking forward to him joining us." Mr Bown starts at the trust on March 23.

Over his career he has worked for Poole Hospital Foundation Trust, West Suffolk Trust and Birmingham Children's Hospital.
