Man left with head wound after car overturns in Black Country crash

A soft top car overturned leaving a man with five-inch cut to his forehead.

It happened on Manor Way, Halesowen, at around 4.55pm this afternoon causing part of the dual carriageway to close.

The driver of the Mazda, believed to be in his 40s, managed to get out of the car but was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham as a precaution.

Ambulance spokesman Chris Kowalik said: "His only visible injury was a five inch laceration to his forehead which was treated at the scene."
