Teenager killed in two-car crash in Staffordshire named

A teenager who died in a two-car crash in Staffordshire has been named as 19-year-old Callum Haskew.

The teenager, from Daventry in Northamptonshire, was the passenger in a Vauxhall Agila which was involved in a collision with a Toyota Avensis in the Lawnhead area near Eccleshall on Thursday at around 4.30pm.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers.

The crash happened on the B5405 Great Bridgeford to Woodseaves road.

The driver of the Vauxhall, a 19-year-old woman, suffered pelvis, chest and neck injuries. Meanwhile the driver of the Toyota, a 57-year-old man from Sheffield, suffered minor injuries.
