Three men have been remanded in custody after appeared in court accused of conspiring to make counterfeit cash.

Three men have been remanded in custody after appeared in court accused of conspiring to make counterfeit cash.

Gary Hart, aged 53, from Six Ashes; Robert Graham Smith, 43, of Bedford Street, Tipton; and Marcus Glindon, 41, from Spalding, Lincolnshire all appeared at Telford Magistrates Court on Saturday.

All three were charged with conspiring to make counterfeit £1 coins, and Hart and Smith are also charged with having machines to make forgeries after police discovered coin presses, edging machines and dyes at a unit on Heathmill Industrial Estate in Wombourne a raid on?Thursday.

Magistrates remanded them in custody until their case is heard at Shrewsbury Crown Court on July 16.
