What started out as a cheeky dare among a group of mothers has turned into a brave bid to raise cash for charity after the group posed for a nude calendar.

They are showing off their naked ambition by launching the calendar before Christmas in a bid to get as many of the 1,000 copies sold as they can.

Each Friday they meet at a coffee morning in Merry Hill, Wolverhampton, after dropping children off at school and initially came up with the idea to do a nude calendar that would be for their eyes only.

Cash from the calendar will be donated to the Midlands Air Ambulance and the MND Association which supports sufferers of Motor Neurone Disease and their families.

The first run of 1,000 will be available next week costing £10 each from the Pavilion Garden Store, Bridgnorth Road, Wolverhampton and the Spar in Compton. The calendars are also available on ebay and from Mrs Knight via email at junespoonk@msn.com
