A 78-year-old woman whose face was gashed by stone-throwing Wolves fans today spoke of her ordeal.
Notts County fan Lowes Brough was knocked unconscious and had facial injuries as a coach window shattered next to her.
After Wolves' 4-2 league cup win at Molineux on Tuesday bricks were thrown at three Notts County fans' coaches in the Horseley Fields area. Lowes Brough said: "A gang of youths came up throwing stones. "It was a really loud noise as it splintered through the glass in front of the driver.
"Everybody said to close the curtains which I did.
"That's all I remember of that. The next thing I remember is I am having first aid."
About 140 County fans were leaving Wolverhampton in the coaches after the match when yobs attacked.
Coaches owner Premiere Travel said more than £20,000 damage was caused.
One couldn't be driven and another had to be sent from Nottingham to pick up fans.
Iris Smith, County supporter's club chairman, said: "At the moment she is in good spirits as she's a very strong lady. She has quite a severe injury to her face because a brick came right through the window and hit her in the face.
"If it had hit her half an inch up, she would have lost her eye. But she's been following Notts County for years so I'm sure this won't put her off.
"It could have been a lot worse and the driver could have been badly injured too.
"We've managed to calm everybody down and the young kids who were on board, but I'm afraid some of them may be too scared to go to games in the future."
Police are investigating. Wolves say those responsible will be banned at Molineux.
The FA today said no action will be taken against County striker Lee Hughes, a former West Bromwich Albion player who taunted Wolves fans by revealing a T-shirt bearing the words Boing Boing - a Baggies chant - as he celebrated scoring the opening goal.
An FA spokesman said the T-shirt did not contravene regulations. The match was his first appearance at Molineux since serving three years of a six-year sentence for causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal car crash in 2003.
A yellow smoke bomb was let off after the goal.
