Metal thieves have struck for a second time at a Black Country firm, stealing a lorry and scaffolding worth thousands of pounds.

Raiders broke into Perry Scaffolding Ltd, in Charlotte Street, Dudley, stealing four tons of metal from the yard.

They used a bolt cutter to cut through a lock on the gate and unloaded the scaffold boards off a wagon, firm owner Craig Perry said today.

Around four tons of scaffolding was then piled onto the back of Mr Perry's seven-ton flat bed lorry before they made off. He believes the thefts, which happened last weekend, have cost him at least £3,000.
