Motorhead cancel Wolverhampton Civic Hall gig

Motorhead have cancelled their forthcoming gig at Wolverhampton Civic Hall.

The heavy metal band was due to perform at the venue on February 17.

But doctors have advised frontman Lemmy Kilmister it would be too soon to go back on the road after recent health problems, prompting the whole tour to be cancelled.

Fans who bought tickets can get refunds by calling Midland Box Office on 0870 320 7000.

Motorhead had already postponed their gig from November 19 last year because of ill health.

The Ace of Spades singers formed in 1975.

They last performed at the Civic in November 2012.
