Albion's once record signing spent three years at The Hawthorns, scoring 28 goals in 120 games before departing the club for China.

A spell at Everton followed, and after a season in Argentina with River Plate, Rondon signed for Mexican side Pachuca, and his goal record for the club has been pretty impressive.

In his two seasons with the club, he has virtually scored a goal every two games and has 31 in 59 appearances in all competitions.

And last year he helped his side to win the CONCACAF Champions Cup, with meant they have qualified for the current Club World Cup which is taking place in the coming weeks.

The competition is seeing sides from all over the world who have won cups and titles in their respective countries, pitted against the giants of English and European football.

Manchester City and Chelsea are the two sides representing England in the controversial tournament, that has been hugely expanded to incorporate more sides.

And former Baggie Rondon will be under the spotlight again, as his side prepares for two clashes as they look to advance and face one of the bigger outfits in the competition.

In their first group phase match they will face RB Salzburg, before they have the chance to take on the giants of Real Madrid on matchday two.

And their third group phase game will see them take on Al-Hilal, as they look to secure a spot in the latter stages of the competition.
