Two teenage boys attacked by 'group of 12 youths - with some carrying knives' in Smethwick
Police are appealing for information after two teenager boys were attacked in Smethwick by a large group carrying knives.
The incident, which took place in Victoria Park, off High Street, saw a group of around 12 youngsters reportedly attack a 16 and 17-year-old at around 8.30pm on June 26.
Though the boys weren't seriously injured, it has been reported that some of the alleged attackers were carrying knives.
West Midlands Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are reviewing CCTV in the area to identify those involved. Patrols have also been increased in the area.
