Dudley Libraries celebrate Black Country Day
Black Country Day is being marked in four Dudley Libraries with free special events aimed at celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage, fascinating history and continuous evolution.
Famed for its medieval history and industrial heritage, Dudley is forging a new future with tourism as its heart. Home to Dudley Castle, the Black Country Living Museum and Dudley canal tunnels, thousands flocked to the town each year. Dudley's historic market place dates back to the 12th century.
