Emergency water works mean lane closure on main road between Willenhall and Wolverhampton

Emergency water works will result in a temporary lane closure on a main road between Willenhall and Wolverhampton.

Wolverhampton Council posted on social media that there will be lane closures along the A454 Willenhall Road between Willenhall and Wolverhampton until Friday (21) due to repairs being carried out by Severn Trent Water.

"@WolvesCouncil Severn Trent Water emergency works mean closure on Willenhall Road from number 87 to number 83 until Friday (November 21)."

The works are on Himley Road Dudley between Brookbank Road and Cinder Road.

A diversion route for traffic will run from Willenhall off Long Acre, in Willenhall, The Keyway, Willenhall Road towards Wolverhampton via Lower Horseley Fields, Middle Cross, Bilston Road, and towards Bilston via Wellington Road, Mount Pleasant towards Willenhall and vice versa.
