From becoming a familiar face at his beloved Walsall FC and hosting at Wembley Stadium to travelling the globe presenting esports events, his career continues to go from strength to strength.

“I’m busy all the time. I keep thinking ‘it can’t get better than this’ and then it does. It’s been incredible,” says Simon.

Since the start of the 2022/23 football season, he has been the pitch-side announcer for Walsall FC.

“Everything has been going well and my role has got drastically bigger. I’m of course known for my matchday announcing and interviewing current and former players.

“I’ve hosted multiple ‘End Of Season Awards’ the Walsall FC Foundation ‘35th Year Celebration’ alongside the ‘Chairman’s Dinner’ and many other key events at the club.

“I’ve been featured in videos for the EFL/FA and announced England U21’s and England U19’s.

“Recently with Walsall getting to Wembley I was able to extend that to hosting the official Walsall FC Takeover at Wembley Stadium’s Fanzone in front of thousands of fans on this memorable day for the club and the town.

"I interviewed Walsall legends Darren Wrack and Jimmy Walker – both won promotion with the club – as well as another Walsall personality and rapper ‘1SideJay’.

“On top of this I have become a mainstay at the club, hosting a new pre-game show – very much Match of the Day inspired – and I’ve been a part of building the matchday experience,” says Simon.
