Festive fun arrives at West Midlands Safari Park as beloved 'Santa Safari' returns
West Midlands Safari Park is set to bring extra Christmas magic this year with the return of its popular Santa Safari and several new festive attractions.
Running on selected dates from November 22 to Christmas Eve, families can enjoy a winter visit to the safari before meeting Santa in his cosy grotto.
For the first time, Mrs Claus will join the celebrations. She will host Storytime with Mrs Claus, where she reads an enchanting Christmas tale from her warm cabin. The Park will also present its first-ever Christmas pantomime. From December 20–23, Treetops Pavilion will stage a lively production of Aladdin, filled with songs, comedy and festive surprises.

Head of Marketing Rochelle Zare said: “Santa Safari is, without a doubt, my favourite time of year. Watching families create magical memories after our team has spent months planning and perfecting every detail is incredibly rewarding.
"This year's Santa Safari is set to be our most enchanting yet. From festive adventures through the Park to unforgettable moments with Santa himself, plus some exciting new features, we can't wait to welcome families back to celebrate the season with us.

“Our elves have been hard at work, transforming our Discovery Trail into a winter wonderland. We have hundreds of trees, beautiful snow-covered scenes and new lighting displays that will add an extra touch of sparkle - especially for those visiting Santa a little later in the day. We hope everyone has a magical time this festive season.”
Visitors will follow helpful elves through the Trail towards the North Pole, meeting cheerful characters and even seeing the Northern Lights. A favourite feature, Santa’s Enchanted Elevator, will return, taking families on an immersive ride to Santa’s front door. Children can tell Santa their wishes, pose for a keepsake photo and choose a gift from the Elves’ Workshop.
Guests can also enjoy festive treats, including a freshly baked cookie and a drink, and take part in crafts at Mrs Claus’ Craft Club.

The experience includes the Safari Drive, Safari Walk, play areas and animal talks. Two “Relaxed Santa Safari Mornings” will run on 26 and 29 November for neuro-divergent guests, with reduced noise, softer lighting and optional activities.
The Park is open daily from November 21 until Christmas Eve. More details and prices are available on the Park’s website.
