Ukes on the Edge bring live music and smiles to Kidderminster care home

Residents at Foley Grange Care Home in Kidderminster enjoyed an uplifting afternoon of live music when Ukes on the Edge visited the home for a special performance.

The popular ukulele group performed live in the home’s lounge, filling the afternoon with cheerful tunes, singalongs and plenty of smiles. Residents, relatives and colleagues came together to enjoy the feel-good performance, with many clapping along and joining in with the music.

Ukes on the Edge are well known for their joyful and engaging performances, and the visit created a warm, lively atmosphere throughout the home. The event formed part of Foley Grange’s ongoing commitment to providing engaging, community-focused activities that support residents’ wellbeing and happiness.

Michelle Pilgrim, Home Manager at Foley Grange Care Home, said: “Music has a wonderful way of bringing people together and lifting spirits, and Ukes on the Edge certainly did that. The performance provided residents with the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment in a relaxed and welcoming setting, while celebrating the power of music to create connection and shared experiences.
