Final preparations for the Tipton’s new Codsall branch
Residents in Codsall have been meeting with representatives from a local building society ahead of a new branch opening.
The Tipton & Coseley Building Society is expanding its network by taking over premises at The Square in the heart of Codsall village.
Tipton colleagues teamed up with South Staffordshire Council to arrange a series of drop-in mornings at the Codsall Community Hub.
They discussed the products and services they’ll be offering, including personal and business savings accounts, plus mortgages for all stages of life.
Two sessions have taken place so far, with a third scheduled for this Thursday (6 November) between 10am and midday.
Richard Groom, the Tipton’s chief customer officer, said: “We may be new to the area, but as an established and trusted financial services provider, we’re very much here to stay.
“We’re making good progress at Codsall and can’t wait to unveil our new facility once the final preparations are complete.
“In the meantime, engaging with visitors to the Codsall Hub and getting to know the people we hope will soon become our customers has been fantastic. Everyone we’ve spoken to is fully supportive of our plans.”
Work began at Codsall in the summer and the branch is due to open by the end of the month.
The Tipton appointed West Bromwich shopfitters Esprit UK to refurbish the unit, which previously housed a beauty salon.
The style is warm and relaxed and in addition to traditional counter service, the branch also has two private consultation rooms where customers can discuss their needs in comfort.
