The team plays its home fixtures in Langley, a stone’s throw from the Richardson’s Midland HQ. The football club was formed in 2022 when it’s founders Luke Cotterill and Rob Tucker recognised the need to fill a gap for young men between playing kids football and the adult game. The club has gone from strength to strength, playing in Division 2 of the Warley and District Sunday Football League, with 25 players on its books.

Jan Jennings, on behalf of the Richardson Brothers Foundation, said: “The Foundation is really pleased to be supporting Warley Athletic Football Club. Since the club was founded its gone from strength to strength and is now a really important part of the local community. We wish it every success in the future.”

Luke Cotterill, Manager of Warley Athletic FC, added: “We’re extremely grateful to the Richardson Brothers Foundation for their kind donation.

"It means we can continue to grow as a club and also foster a sense of identity, which is so important as we attract players from a range of different backgrounds.”
