Black Country Multicultural Day Founder, Frank Prazer said: “Black Country Multicultural Day was born from the idea that we are stronger together. It began as a small idea—to create a free, family-friendly event where people of all backgrounds could come together to share music, art, and stories. A space that celebrates unity, inclusion, and the diverse histories that define the Black Country.
"Since its launch, the event has grown year after year. Today, it features live performances, cultural exhibitions, dance workshops, community stalls, and a talent competition—bringing hundreds together in the heart of Halesowen. It’s become a platform for emerging talent, a meeting place for community groups, and a moment each year when we truly feel connected.
"This day is more than a celebration, it’s an acknowledgment. A reminder that diversity is something to be proud of, and that our stories deserve to be told and shared. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far, and even more grateful to the team who have stood by me from the very beginning.
"To my amazing team – thank you for your support, passion, and belief over the past five years. I couldn’t have done it without you.
"Thank you for joining us. Together, we make the Black Country stronger."
