Lee on track to complete 100 half marathons for charity
Dedicated to his father-in-law, Lee Groucutt is set to achieve 100 official half marathons from 2012-2025, and will complete his 2025 fundraiser for Dementia UK challenge later this month.
Former chronic back pain sufferer, unfit and overweight, Lee turned to running and charity fundraising to help others and regain his health and motivation for challenge.

Lee, from Codsall, said: "On Sunday, 22 June at Chase Water Country Park I will complete my 100th half marathon this has taken me approximately 13 years (2012 to 2025). It will also coincide with me completing my 2025 Dementia UK fundraising challenge of running️ 19 events this year for the charity.

"All this is dedicated to my father-in-law who lives in a specialist care home for dementia.

"My personal back ground is 14 years of chronic back pain and at my heaviest I was 17 stone 10 - the last 13 years I have dedicated myself to running, healthy living, and charity challenges."
