The leading housebuilder has created a variety of schemes and initiatives to help prospective buyers make their goals of homeownership a reality.
The Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme is an example of this, dedicated to helping the people who keep Britain going progress onto the property ladder more affordably.

Eligible home buyers using this scheme could get a £1,000 contribution towards their deposit for every £20,000 spent towards the purchase price.

For example, for a home costing £450,000, this would qualify key workers for a contribution of £22,500. This means that customers can get more competitive interest rates and save money in the long-term.
As well as this, those utilising the Key Worker Deposit Contribution scheme will also receive complementary flooring throughout the home at the value of 1% of the property. Using the example of a home costing £450,000, this would represent flooring worth £4,500.

Recently David Wilson Homes have expanded their list of Key Workers to include foster carers. Other Key Workers included are members of a local authority, teachers, NHS workers, Ministry of Defence workers and more.
According to the Office of National Statistics, the total percentage of people in the Stafford area who are classified as a key worker is 34.6% of residents, whilst 35.2% in South Staffordshire, 28.8% in East Staffordshire and 33.4% in the Staffordshire Moorlands would be eligible to take advantage of David Wilson Homes’ scheme.
