Cannock Chase Council hosted a flag raising ceremony outside the Civic Centre, to mark the start of the commemorations, followed by a Service in Cannock Town Centre at the Cenotaph at 10am on 08 May 25.

The Service was led by Reverend Steve Reynolds from St. Luke’s Church. We must never forget that so many sacrificed so much for us to live in freedom.

Cannock and District Ladies Probus Club, were represented by Anne Bumford, as Chairman together with Jill Gooch, Treasurer, to join in the celebrations.
