Designed to empower and upskill staff, this new programme underscores the Group's commitment to excellence in care through continuous professional development.

Flourish will initially introduce over three carefully curated training courses, each tailored to meet the needs of its 100+ professionals and further enhance the quality of care provided to residents.

The courses will be highly interactive and engaging, ensuring staff from across the Group’s four care homes in the West Midlands and Worcestershire receive practical knowledge and skills that can be applied directly in their roles.

The programme’s first Nurse Assistants course was held recently and was met with resounding success.

Staff described the interactive session as "engaging" and "informative," in equipping them with knowledge needed to move to the next level in their current roles.

Kim Young, regional director for Superior Care, whose vision and expertise were instrumental in designing and launching Flourish, said:

"Flourish marks an exciting new chapter for our Group and represents our commitment to fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning.

“By providing development opportunities in an environment familiar to our team, we aim to ensure that learning becomes an integral, ongoing part of their journey with us.

"We take pride in investing in our staff, who really are the cornerstone of the exceptional care we provide. Our retention rates are at an all-time high, with many team members having dedicated more than 10 years to the company and to the residents they look after.

"Additionally, our commitment to raising care standards through comprehensive training reflects our vision of creating a culture where excellence and professional growth thrive and this initiative will serve as a foundation for achieving greater outcomes for everyone."
