Main road close to Wednesbury motorway junction closed off for 'police incident'
A main road coming off the M6 at junction nine for Wednesbury has been blocked off for what is described as a police incident.
It is affecting the A461 Wood Green Road Southbound from M6 J9 (Wednesbury) to Myvod Road.
The AA traffic news site reports the closure is for a police incident. They say there are diversions on bus services in the area but traffic is coping well currently.
NX West Midlands confirmed a diversion remains in place on the number 11 service between Dudley and Walsall.
West Midlands Police have been approached about the incident.
