Are you hungry for more General Election news? Or do you need something to whet your political appetite? Either way, this Staffordshire cafe has just the answer.

The Kitchen, a cafe in Codsall, is offering an Election Day Menu to its customers.

Delights include the Sturgeon Samosa, Ed Miliband's Bacon Sandwich, or a Conservative Eton Mess.

Labour Ed Miliband – Bacon Sandwich

Lib Dem- Nick Clegg – Pancake

UKIP Nigel Farrage – Steak and Ale Pie

Greens Natalie Bennett – Organic Green Salad

Plaid Cymru Leanne Wood – Welsh Rarebit

DUP Peter Robinson – Sausage Roll - Pork, Guinness, Irish Cheddar Cheese

The culinary creations are the brainchild of owner George Price and his partner, Helen.

"The Election's getting a bit boring," admits Mr Price, "so we thought we'd put a bit of a spin on it.

"The different options, such as David Cameron's Eton Mess, or Ed Miliband's Bacon Sandwich show the difference between the two political parties, and is one of the reasons for doing it.

"It's something for people to engage with other than the normal political debate.

"It's all just a little bit of fun," he added.

Before promising that the next Prime Minister can come into the cafe in Bilbrook Road to claim their prize.
