Walsall, Aston Villa and Wolves learn EFL Trophy opponents
Walsall will face Southampton's under-21s in the 2019-20 EFL Trophy.
The Saints were drawn into southern section group D in Friday's live draw on talkSPORT.
Midlands rivals Coventry and Forest Green Rovers complete the group.
Dates for the fixtures have not yet been released but Walsall's game against Southampton will definitely be played at the Banks's Stadium.
Wolves and Aston Villa have both entered academy teams into the competition this year.
Wolves have been placed into Group G along with Blackpool, Carlisle and Morecambe.
Villa are in Group C with Bury, Salford and Tranmere.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the round of 32.
