The 18-year-old winger moves to Molineux for the season in Wolves' second loan capture in two days.

Striker Adam Le Fondre joined from Cardiff City on Monday evening and the two signings bolster Kenny Jackett's squad considerably ahead of the season starting at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Ojo is highly regarded at Anfield and scored the Reds' winner in a 2-1 friendly at Swindon on Sunday.

The teenager has also signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool.

He said of his Wolves move: "It's a great feeling. I'm looking forward to the upcoming season. Hopefully we can have a good year and push for promotion.

"It's a really good club. It's got great facilities. All of the players are nice, they have welcomed me to the club and the staff are brilliant as well.

"Everything's going well, I'm just looking forward to starting the season at the weekend."

Ojo moved to Liverpool from MK Dons in 2011.

He had yet to feature for the Reds' first team but spent time on loan in the Championship at Wigan Athletic last season, making 11 appearances.

Wolves recruitment chief Kevin Thelwell said he expected Ojo, who went on Liverpool's pre-season tour to Asia, to hit the ground running.

"He's a little bit different to what we've got," Thelwell added.

"He's out-and-out pace and power, he's very direct, he's got the ability to beat people one v one.

"He's got the ability to assist, the ability to score and then he's also got a very good personality.

"Even though he's very young, he's well rounded, his parents are very supportive and we think he'll be a very good fit for us.

"He's fit, he's well and he's been playing all of pre-season so we're expecting for him to hit the ground running."
