Video: Rondon stands by for his Albion debut
Club-record signing Salomon Rondon is standing by for his West Brom debut at Watford tomorrow.
But boss Tony Pulis will speak to the Albion medical staff before deciding whether the £12million striker is ready to start.
Rondon signed on Monday, just three days after the Baggies confirmed Serge Gnabry's season-long loan move from Arsenal.
And head coach Pulis will check on both players' fitness this afternoon before finalising his starting line-up.
He said: "Salomon's done very well. Him and Gnabry have spent a lot of time working with the fitness coach.
"But Salomon has showed a great attitude, he's a great lad and we've been impressed with him.
"They have worked hard in the last week or so, the two of them, and I will assess it with the medical team to see if they're ready, if not to start then for the bench."
