West Brom are set to step up their interest in Andre-Pierre Gignac.moreHe knows where the goal is - watch highlights of Andre-Pierre Gignac in action for Marseille.

Sources in France claim the Baggies are going head to head with Dynamo Moscow in the battles to sign Gignac, who is a free agent after his contract at Marseille came to an end.

Baggies sources have dismissed reports from the continent of a concrete offer to the 29-year-old, who Pulis and assistant boss Dave Kemp made a personal trip to France to watch last month.

But Hawthorns officials have held detailed discussions with Gignac's representatives and are understood to be the leading English side in the race for his signature, with the former Toulouse targetman having previously expressed a wish to play in the Premier League.
