Young Albion striker Adil Nabi has been named the club's Young Player of the Season after a consistent goal-scoring campaign which took him to the brink of a first team call. more
The club have this week taken up their option on the 21-year-old who will return for training next season determined to prove to manager Tony Pulis that he is ready for the responsibility of a senior berth.
He is one of two rising stars to have scooped awards yesterday along with 17-year-old defender, Jack Fitzwater, who was named as the Academy Player of the Year.
Fitzwater has revelled in playing Under 21 football this season and the player, who has also trained regularly with the first team , said "I'm delighted with the award and I owe a lot to all the coaches who have put so much effort into developing me."
