Stevan Jovetic and Rony Lopes both took their personal tallies to four goals in three games as Monaco subdued Bordeaux 2-1 in Ligue 1.

Jovetic added to his brace in the 4-0 win at Angers and his strike in the 3-3 draw at Toulouse.

Lopes, meanwhile, topped up his goal double in that high-scoring Toulouse draw, and his solitary strike in the 4-0 win over Dijon.

Valentin Vada put Bordeaux ahead just past the half-hour, only for in-form duo Jovetic and Lopes to strike back and help Monaco hang on to second place in the Ligue 1 table.

Mario Balotelli’s 15th goal of the season helped Nice grab their first Ligue 1 win in six matches with a 2-1 win over Lille.

Italy forward Balotelli bagged his 21st goal of the campaign in all competitions with a bullet of a header from a Wylan Cyprien corner from the right after just five minutes.

Luiz Araujo levelled for struggling Lille six minutes into the second-half.

But just when Nice looked to be staring down the barrel of a sixth league match without a win, Cyprien popped up with the winner with less than 10 minutes to play.
