Atletico Madrid duo Yannick Carrasco and Nico Gaitan join Dalian Yifang
Belgian winger Carrasco joined Atletico from French side Monaco in 2015.
Atletico Madrid duo Yannick Carrasco and Nico Gaitan have both moved to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
The LaLiga outfit made the announcement about the double sale on the club’s official website with a short statement wishing both players good luck with their new club.
Belgian winger Carrasco joined Atletico from French side Monaco in 2015 and made 124 appearances for the Spanish club, scoring 23 goals.
The 24-year-old made his 100th appearance for Atletico against Roma in the Champions League last September, one of 28 times he played for the club during the current season.
Thirty-year-old Argentina midfielder Gaitan joined Atletico from Benfica in the summer of 2016 but only made 49 appearances for the club – 13 of those this season – before agreeing a move to China.
