The Aussie ace has made a big impression with fans during his time with the club and won the title with them in 2016.

He joins American ace Luke Becker and British favourite Kyle Howarth in the Parrys International Wolves side as they look to force their way back into the play-off picture.

“I’m relieved and happy to be back with Wolves,” he said. “I got a pretty high average which I said at the end of the season could have worked against me but I’m happy.

“Last year was a struggle at times because of the leg injury I sustained before the season started but I managed to get stronger as the season progressed.”

Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten said: “I’m pleased with the signing of Sam, he’s a class act on his day and I’m sure we will see the best of him next season.

“He always has a smile on his face and is good for the team but he’s also the type of rider who has the ability to be world class and I’m delighted he’s back at Monmore Green.

“We’re in talks with other riders right now and I’m sure the team will come together nicely in the near future.

“I’m pleased with the start we have made in team building, Kyle and Sam are firm favourites with our fans but also we have a new young American, one of the hottest properties in the sport, Luke Becker with us.

“We’ve had some positive feedback from the fans so far and we’re quite happy with the way things are coming together for the new season.”

Van Straaten will be on hand at Monmore Green today between 9.30am-2.30pm for season ticket sales and a chat with supporters. There is a card machine facility available for supporters to purchase their ticket in time for Christmas.
