Swedish stars Freddie Lindgren and Jacob Thorssell remain in hospital with back injuries – Thorssell was due to have surgery yesterday – and miss out on the Grand Final decider with Swindon at Monmore (7.30).

Parrys International Wolves hold a handy four-point lead from the first leg at the Abbey on Monday after one of the most stunning backs-to-the-wall displays ever seen.

Boss Peter Adams said: “We want to win the title tonight for our hospitalised duo.

“They have been tremendous for us all season and their recovery period, in both cases, is months rather than weeks.

“We rode extremely well on Monday but the job is only half done and we now need to finish it tonight.

“It isn’t over. There’s plenty more in this Grand Final yet, believe me. It’s going to be a tense but exciting night.”

Fans are urged to get to Monmore earlier than usual with a big crowd expected as Wolverhampton look to retain their title – and win it in front of their home fans for the first time since 1991.
