Cradley Heathens hope to shackle Colts

Cradley boss Will Pottinger is anticipating one of their toughest meetings of the season as they head to Belle Vue.

The high-flying Colts have been in impressive form on home shale so far this season, breaking the 60-point barrier on five occasions.

But Pottinger admits the Heathens would love to end their unbeaten home record as they make the trip to the impressive National Speedway Stadium.

Despite being without the unavailable Luke Harris, Pottinger is hopeful they can build on last week’s home win over Plymouth to leave Manchester with some potentially crucial Travel Plus National League points to bolster their play-off push.

Said Pottinger: “It’s going to be a very tough trip. They’re doing very well at home this year, so they’ll certainly be the favourites.

“But we want to go there and put in a good performance for our travelling supporters, and if we could come away with a result we’d be delighted.”
