Parrys International Wolves skipper Freddie Lindgren currently leads the World Championship series on 32 points – and is being chased hard by Swindon’s Australian captain Jason Doyle who sits in second in the standings, five points behind.

Lindgren, inset, has been inspirational for the Monmore men so far and is unbeaten by an opposing rider in their last five fixtures, the latest of which saw him guide his side at a 57-36 win away to Leicester last Monday.

The flying Swede knows he will have to be at his very best against the Robins as the Wolves target a magnificent seventh straight league victory.

“Swindon have some very capable riders in their team and it won’t be an easy meeting,” Lindgren said.

“Jason has come back from his injury well; he’s been excellent this year and they’ve got other riders who can do some damage too.

“But we’re a team full of confidence right now and we all really want to keep the ball rolling.

“There’s usually some excellent racing when we come up against Swindon so it should be a good speedway meeting for the supporters.”

Wolves will be at full strength as they seek to maintain their perfect record at Monmore Green this season having won all seven of their home meetings.

Swindon will operate rider replacement for Bradley Wilson-Dean, who is ruled out with a hand injury.

Along with Doyle, the Robins include Aussie ace Nick Morris as well as Adam Ellis, who finished runner-up in last month’s British Under-21 Final.
