Gold rush for taekwondo club

A taekwondo club from Kingswinford brought home four gold medals from an event put on by the Taekwondo Association of Great Britain (TAGB).

Jack Hughes (junior green belt), Norton Tudor (1st Dan black belt), David Cooper (2nd Dan black belt), Keith Box (4th Dan black belt) all gained first place at the central area competition and will now be entered into the national competition. Cooper – an instructor at Kingswinford Taekwondo, based out of Sumerhill School in the town – also enjoyed more success recently, taking first place in the British Open (taekwondo patterns) and the international Kick Covid patterns competition.
