Social and Hay march on

There was no change at the top of the Cannock and Chase League Premier Division standings as the top two both bagged wins.

Yates Social lead the way on goal difference from Cheslyn Hay following a 4-2 success at home to Brereton Lion.

Liam Degville, Luke Farley, Ben Marklew and Paul Harvey secured the points for Yates. Jay Ford and Stuart Tapper replied.

Cheslyn Hay also hit four, although Ridware Oak managed thee in response.

On target for Hay were Connor Archer, James Harris, Dan Percox and Tom Clews with Brad Hitchman scoring twice and Jack Turner once for the visitors.

Chase Wanderers are the only unbeaten top flight side.

Two goals from James Baid earned them a 2-2 draw at Victoria.

Littleton Arms made it three wins from three in Division One.

Brereton Town were their latest victims as Littleton, who have yet to concede a goal this season, won 3-0. Adam Tonks, Stuart Russell and Matt Allport were the men on target.

RC TNT are level on points with Littleton after also recording a third straight win.

They had to work for their points before running out 4-3 winners at AFC Cheslyn Hay.

Ellis Blakemore (two), Ben Bissett and Luke Bradley netted for RC while Edward Pomroy grabbed a hat-trick for the hosts.

BB FC beat Belt Road FC 6-3 while goals from Sam Dyke and Dean Hearsey earned Bloxwich Swifts a 2-1 win at home to Miners FC.

Wolves Sporting hit five on the road to climb to the top of Division Two.

Adam Shorto was the star of the show with a hat-trick in the 5-2 success at Shire Oak.

Arron Davis and Glenn Welligs added the other goals for the leaders with Steven Harper netting twice for Shire.

Bridge Inn and Five Ways were also 5-2 winners, against AFC Winding Wheel and AFC Essington respectively.

Chris Geldart hit a treble for Brideg and he was backed up by Jordan Holmes and Aaron Wright.

Elms shared the points and six goals with AFC Jubilee while H/H Sports Bar won 4-2 at Premier Suite with Nick Hodgkiss grabbing all four of Sports’ goals.

In the Cannock Chase Cup, AFC Windmill beat AFC Green Heath 2-1.
