West Brom Basketball Club guard Cash Evans has urged his teammates to shelve any complacency as they look to secure a second win of the season over Broadway Casino Aces.

West Brom make the trip to their latest opponents this weekend hoping to maintain their winning record going into the New Year.

Having already beaten the Aces 66-53 at home in October - Evans is hopeful that his teammates can do the same once again with a similarly strong defensive display.

"We got a good win over Broadway Casino last time around, but we can't afford to be complacent." he said.

"Just because we won our home game against them, it doesn't mean we'll do the same on their court.

"Broadway will no doubt want to even the score, so we need to be ready to fire on all cylinders right from the tip-off."

Evans joined West Brom during a summer of change for the club, joining numerous others in donning green and white jersey for the first time - and he's hailed his teammates' efforts so far this season, having settled in well under new head coach, Tim Rudge.

"I really couldn't ask for better teammates here - everybody puts the effort in and is locked into the game whether they're on the court or on the bench.

"I'm really looking forward to the New Year and hopefully helping to fire us on to a strong finish for the end of the campaign.

"We've definitely developed as a team, and we've improved so much - it'll be exciting to see where we end up."

Meanwhile, West Brom are still sweating on the fitness of point guard, Sam Rudge - who was forced to miss the 73-61 win over MLC after suffering an ankle injury in the clash with Lordswood.

Rudge has been a key component since joining in the summer, and played a huge role in the previous win over Broadway earlier this season.
