Andy Paddock’s side entertain AFC Bridgnorth tomorrow sitting pretty at the top of the table with six wins from six.

Sporting have hit the net 30 times in the league already and put five past Oswestry last week in the FA Vase despite making six changes.

And Paddock is ready to stick with his horses for courses approach tomorrow as he makes the most of the quantity and quality of players he has assembled.

“Bridgnorth have already beaten Wolverhampton Casuals this season and we are expecting a tough, physical game,” said Paddock.

“But we are playing really, really well at the moment.

“The main thing about it is the squad. We have a big squad and that is something I wanted.

“I wanted to be in a position where I had two players for each position and I am fortunate to have that.

“We didn’t have that strength in depth last year and if we had a few players missing then others would end up playing out of position.

“Now we have good enough replacements to go in and the competition is keeping everyone on their toes.

“I have made it clear that I will pick certain payers for certain games.

“I have said to the players that by the end of the season they will all have had an input into where we finish.

“I haven’t picked the same starting XI this season and I made six changes last week for the FA Vase game with Oswestry and we won 5-0. That shows the strength in depth.”
