The Portuguese boss is 4/6 to be named the club's new head coach this summer, with Simone Inzaghi (10/1) second favourite and current Brighton boss Graham Potter (12/1) third in the running.

Other names thought to be in the race to take on the job in north London include Brendan Rodgers, Ralph Hasenhuttl, Roberto Martinez and Scott Parker.

Reports elsewhere appear to suggest that the 47-year-old is not under consideration for the role at Spurs, whilst Bruno Lage is the favourite to fill Nuno's shoes in the dugout at Molineux.

The Wolves head coach will step down following Sunday's curtain call vs Manchester United at Molineux in front of 4,500 fans.

Nuno's four-year tenure as Wolves boss saw the club promoted to the Premier League before back-to-back 7th-placed finishes.

A memorable Europa League run finished in a quarter-final defeat to eventual winners Sevilla.

Wolves currently sit 12th in the table after a difficult season with multiple long term injuries, a global pandemic and fans not being able to attend.
