Wolves' Pedro Neto doubtful for Sheffield United but Daniel Podence back
Pedro Neto is a doubt for Wolves' trip to Sheffield United tomorrow – but compatriot Daniel Podence is available after being given Premier League clearance.
Neto took a 'strong kick' in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend and has struggled since.
Podence, though, is back in the fold after missing the loss to the Gunners. He had returned to Portugal for an important personal issue and was having to self-isolate for 14 days upon his return.
He has since, though, tested negative for Covid-19 twice and Wolves have been given the green light to include him in the squad at Bramall Lane (6pm).
Nuno said on Neto: "After he came on, he was struggling.
"He had a strong kick and we had to assess him. We have to wait and see how he is for us."
And on Podence, Nuno said: "We did what we had to do, the moment he returned he went to his home.
"He tested two times negative and he can join us. There's a law which allows this situation and he will probably join us tomorrow. It's very positive because we need all the players."
Podence – signed for £17million from Olympiacos in January – is yet to make a league start for Wolves.
Nuno, though, added: "Daniel, after what has happened, is for sure able to join and give us one more option.
"We still don't know if Pedro is going to be available or not. We'll assess this later.
"But we have Daniel, and he could even start the game. He's been working from home on the days he was without full training sessions with the team.
"Hopefully, it doesn't impact his fitness levels too much."
