Wolves boss Nuno, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Mendes make donation

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and super-agent Jorge Mendes have made a collective donation to a Portuguese hospital as the coronavirus battle continues.

In an initiative set up by Primeira Liga club Vitoria Guimaraes, Nuno, Ronaldo and Mendes have stepped forward to boost the Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira, in the city.

Their donation has allowed the hospital to put a monitoring centre in the intensive care unit.

It is said the new equipment will allow doctors to monitor the condition of eight patients at the same time.
