Adama Traoré expected to be fit for Brighton clash

Adama Traoré is understood to be fit and available for Saturday's visit of Brighton after he once again dislocated his shoulder against Tottenham last weekend.

It is the third time the Spaniard has suffered the injury this season, after the reverse fixture against Spurs in December, and the draw at Old Trafford in January.

Nuno has been an outspoken critic of the treatment from defenders towards Traoré, and recently admitted that he is worried about the pain he's suffering.

Ahead of the match against Brighton, Nuno gave a fitness update on the squad – with midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White and full-back Jonny Casto Otto the only expected absentees.

Jonny was forced off the field during the Premier League game against Norwich and has not featured in Wolves' two games since.

"We have some issues regarding the game tomorrow, Morgan and Jonny - it's something that we still have to attend,'' Nuno said.

"No (there's no expected return), he's (Jonny) not yet with the team.

"He's getting better but it will take some time."

After making his long-awaited return to the match squad against Newcastle last month, Gibbs-White will once again be sidelined after picking up an injury during an academy game in mid-week.

Nuno however, was cautiously optimistic that the injury will not keep the 20-year-old out of action for a sustained period.

“He had a twisted ankle from the U23 game," he added.

“Hopefully he won't be out too much.''

After a string of impressive performance and results, which prompted Brighton to offer Graham Potter a new six-year deal just months into his tenure on the south coast, the Seagulls' form has waned in recent weeks.

But, Nuno insists he is taking nothing for granted.

"He (Graham Potter) has implemented a way they play, Brighton are a good team full of quality players,'' he said.

"We have to compete and focus on the task that we have to do.

"During the game, competing for every ball, we don't change.

"It's (three at the back) one of the options so we are preparing well, it can be multiple options for the Brighton team.

"But I repeat, they're full of quality players and have a good way of playing football.

"It's going to be very difficult."
