Steve Bull: Wolves shouldn’t fear anyone – let them fear us!

Olympiacos in the last 16 of the Europa League!

You’ve got to pinch yourselves almost every week as a Wolves fan nowadays.

It’s a decent draw for us – we shouldn’t fear anyone the way we are playing.

Mind you, I was worried we were going to end up coming up against Copenhagen and our old friend Stale Solbakken was going to come back to bite us on the bum!

Going to Greece in the first leg will be tough, but not something to worry about.

I would have liked to have had home advantage in the first leg, but the main thing will be making sure that we are still in the tie by the time we get them back to Molineux.

The Wolves fans are massive for us at the moment and the team really do lift their performances when the crowd are really roaring them on.

I would fancy us to get something over there.

I think it could be close, but we’re a threat and I’d fancy us to get an away goal.

Olympiacos will be getting as many videos of us as they can and they’ll soon find out they’re in for a tough game. But whether it ends up in a draw or even a narrow loss, I’d still think we will be good enough at Molineux to get the job done.

It was a shame for Pedro Neto that he missed the open goal in Thursday’s game. But the good thing is that we were pretty much through when it happened.

Things like that happen in football, sometimes you take your eye off the ball or the goal for a fleeting moment and you miss.

The important thing as a striker is not to dwell on it – he might come on against Spurs today and hit a 30-yard screamer.

I’m going to the game today and looking forward to seeing their new stadium.

I’d certainly take the same result as the 3-1 win we had when we played them at Wembley last season.

That’s the thing now though, we don’t fear going to these places. Nuno has the players so well drilled, they all know exactly what their jobs are and they go to these places and carry out their instructions to the letter. It’s almost robotic.

Not so long ago we’d be up against a Spurs or Arsenal, Manchester United, anyone and think we could be in for a long afternoon.

Now, though, we know we will give any of them a good game. Bring it on!
