John Ruddy

Was disappointed with the opener, letting El Ghazi's shot slip through and roll over the line. Perhaps could have saved the second too, although it came in at speed. 5

Jesus Vallejo

Cut a nervous figure again, lumping the ball long, with it going back to Villa almost every time. Slow to react a few loose balls as well. 5

Ryan Bennett

In the sweeper role usually occupied by Conor Coady, Bennett did not bring the ball out as well but won a fair amount of headers. 6

Maximilian Kilman

Like at Slovan Bratislava last week, Kilman did the basics well and made a fine block to deny Trezeguet early on before Villa took the lead. 7

Dion Sanderson

A combative display down the right. Did not stand out massively but, at the same time, he was not really exposed at any point. 6

Bruno Jordao

Making his return from injury, Jordao covered quite a bit of ground and showed flashes of quality, even though he did give the ball away cheaply on a few occasions. 6

Taylor Perry

Did not have the best of starts but recovered by showing great determination to win the ball off Luiz and get a shot off, which Cutrone poked in for Wolves' goal. 7

Ruben Vinagre

Caught flat-footed as El Ghazi latched onto Lansbury's clever through-ball to open the scoring while his runs forward came to nothing. 5

Chem Campbell

Did not see a lot of the ball, but when he got on it, he had a swagger about him. Confident for a 16-year-old. 6

Patrick Cutrone

Displayed his predatory instinct to get on the scoresheet but missed a big opportunity to make it 2-2. A work in progress. 6

Pedro Neto

His dribbles were not always successful, but he carried on regardless and asked some questions before being taken off towards the end. 6

Subs

Benny Ashley-Seal (for Campbell, 68)

Keenly closed down Konsa in an attempt to get something. 6

Terry Taylor (for Jordao, 71)

Put himself about in the middle of the park. 6

Flavio Cristovao (for Neto, 77)

Did not do anything wrong but Wolves could have done with more of an attacking presence late on. 6

Not used: Patricio (gk), Richards, Buur, Samuels
