The youngster has joined Wolves for an undisclosed fee, and links up with the club's U23s in a two-year deal with an option of an extra year.

Dai featured for former club Bury in League One before moving on to Oxford in 2018. He also had a spell on-loan at FC Utrecht last season.

U23s boss Rob Edwards is looking forward to seeing the midfielder in action this season:

"Dai arrived here at the start of the month and has already settled into the group well. He’s a midfield player who wants to try and get on the ball and he’s got lots of energy." he said.

“He’s got a good personality and will get an opportunity, like all of our players in the under-23s, to show what he can do.

“We need to see more of him, as we do with all of our summer signings, because our levels are going to go up this season, especially if we want to close the gap to the first-team.

“We’ve got to get to know him, but he’s got to get to know us, get to know the way we work, how we do things. So far, he’s made a good first impression.”

Meanwhile, centre back Ryan Leak has departed Wolves' academy for Spanish side Burgos. He leaves after 14 years at the club.
