The midfielders have joined newly-promoted Portuguese top flight club Famalicao – where striker Benny Ashley-Seal spent an unsuccessful spell on loan last season – on permanent deals.

Goncalves made his first-team debut last season and was highly regarded in the under-23 setup.

However with Fosun and club bosses placing a big emphasis on improving the under-23 squad this summer, a decision has been made to allow both players to leave.

Goncalves was part of the first-team pre-season trip to Switzerland last summer and then came on as a substitute against Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup.

Dias only joined the club last summer but barely featured for Rob Edwards' side, making just one appearance.
