If you know someone who has gone to extreme levels to support the club they love, we want to hear from you.

Once again we’re looking to honour a Wolves fanatic at this season’s End of Season Awards in May.

Our winner will receive a trophy and have their story told in front of hundreds of fellow fans – as well as the entire Wolves first-team squad – at the glittering annual ceremony.

We want to hear about diehard Wolves fans who have gone above and beyond for the gold and black cause.

Whoever scoops the prestigious accolade will follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Mark Simmons.

Mark received the award after the Express & Star judges were won over by his extreme devotion, following Wolves despite suffering life-changing injuries as a seven-year-old when he was hit by a car.

The 46-year-old, from Kingswinford, said: “It was a fantastic night. I got to meet the players and manager and former stars like Steve Bull and Don Goodman.

“It is a privilege and honour to receive this award. There are so many Wolves fans out there.”

Mark’s devotion to all things gold and black helped him through his recovery from the accident, which saw him undergo a life-saving operation before slipping into a coma and being left paralysed down his left-hand side. If you think you are someone – or know someone – whose love of Wolves has seen them overcome the odds, or simply know someone whose devotion to Wolves is above and beyond the call of duty, then they could be Express & Star’s Fan of the Season.
